Basic Info

Trendspek helps organisations understand the true condition of their buildings and infrastructure so they can make safer, smarter and more economical decisions. Many asset owners still rely on old reports, scattered photos and assumptions when planning maintenance or assessing risk. Trendspek replaces all of that with a clear, accurate digital view of each asset.

Using high fidelity 3D models, we bring inspections, expert analysis and long term planning together in one secure place. Our clients can explore their assets in detail, identify issues early, compare changes over time and build strong, defensible records for governance and investment decisions.

We work across sectors where the cost of getting it wrong is high. Oil and gas. Universities. Ports. Commercial property. Transport. Utilities. Government. These organisations manage large, complex assets that support communities, trade and industry. Trendspek gives them clarity, consistency and trust.

We’re based in Sydney and operate globally, with customers and partners across Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and the Gulf. Our partner network includes engineering consultants, drone service providers and robotics companies who help deliver complete solutions on site.

At its core, Trendspek gives people confidence. Confidence that the information is accurate. Confidence that risks are understood. And confidence that every decision is based on the real condition of the asset, not assumptions.

Why work with us

1. Clarity you can trust

Most tools give you photos or partial data. Trendspek gives you a full, high fidelity 3D view of the real asset. Nothing hidden. Nothing assumed. You see what your engineers see.

2. Defensible records for every decision

Executives need confidence. Regulators expect evidence. We give you consistent, auditable information that strengthens governance and removes guesswork from maintenance, safety and investment decisions.

3. Faster, safer inspections

Our clients reduce time on site, avoid unnecessary shutdowns and detect issues earlier. This saves money and reduces risk across the lifecycle of every asset.

4. One platform, not a pile of tools

Inspections, analysis, reporting and capital planning all live in one place. Teams stop chasing files and start working together.

5. Immediate value through partners

We work with trusted engineering firms, drone operators and robotics companies. This means faster mobilisations, local support and smooth delivery from day one.

6. Proven with global operators

Used by organisations like Cenovus, Suncor, Chevron, Woodside, ports, universities and major property owners. Clients choose us when accuracy, safety and governance matter.

7. Ready for the future

Once assets are digitised, owners can introduce automation, AI and smarter planning with confidence. Trendspek becomes the base layer for long term improvement.

NSW Ports

-

NSW Ports manages major Australian shipping hubs, including Port Botany and Port Kembla. They needed a safer, clearer way to inspect hard-to-reach maritime structures like wharves, jetties and pipelines, which previously required boats, scaffolding and perfect weather windows. Trendspek helped them shift to detailed 3D models of their assets, allowing engineers and contractors to inspect everything remotely with full context. This removed access challenges, reduced labour and cut the cost of some inspections to one third. The models improved planning, tendering, collaboration and even environmental initiatives. NSW Ports now uses Trendspek to work faster, reduce risk and create consistent, verifiable records across their portfolio.

University of Sydney

-

The University of Sydney manages some of Australia’s oldest and most complex buildings, where traditional inspections covered only a small part of each façade and relied heavily on assumptions. Trendspek helped the University shift to a digital-first approach by capturing more than 110 buildings with drones and turning them into detailed 3D models. Engineers carried out remote inspections with up to 100 percent visibility, completing over 13,000 virtual assessments. This cut inspection time by 80 percent, reduced project costs by 30 percent and removed the need for elevated work platforms. The result was a complete, accurate and defensible record of each building’s condition, enabling clearer maintenance planning, better risk management and long term heritage preservation.
